How RankEcho works
RankEcho runs in three moves on a domain you own: it audits whether AI engines cite you, generates the exact fix for each gap, and re-tests the prompt to show whether the citation appeared. You get a prioritized gap map, copy-paste fixes, and a measured before/after — not just a dashboard.

What the audit checks
Free audits check Perplexity and Gemini once per prompt. Paid and trialing accounts add ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when those adapters are configured, for up to 5 engines. RankEcho parses which sources each engine cited and reports citation rate, share of voice, a gap map of the prompts where you are absent, and which competitor was cited instead.
It also flags whether AI crawlers can reach your site — a blocked crawler is one access failure to rule out before diagnosing extraction, entity, or source-coverage gaps.
What's in a fix
Each gap becomes a concrete, shippable package — not vague advice:
- A front-loaded answer block written to be extracted and cited.
- JSON-LD schema (FAQPage or Article) wrapping that answer.
- An llms.txt suggestion and an AI-crawler access check.
- A content brief targeting the exact prompt and its fan-out sub-queries.
- An off-site playbook — the third-party pages AI already cites, and how to get mentioned there.
How the proof works
After you ship a fix, RankEcho re-runs the same prompt on a schedule and compares your citation rate before and after on a fixed prompt set. It separates fast retrieval effects (24–72 hours) from slow training-recall effects (weeks to months) and grades confidence by sample size.
This is correlation with controls — a strict pre/post split on a held-fixed prompt — not a causal guarantee. It is still far more than a moving score on a chart.
