02 / Gaps & Actions

Five checks, ranked by likely extra clicks.

Gaps & Actions runs these checks on your own data and orders the results by estimated upside, measured against your site's own CTR at each position. Thresholds are deliberately conservative, so a small site may see few cards at first.

  1. Quick wins

A query where you already rank in positions 4–20 with at least 100 impressions in the last 28 days.

Next step Strengthen the ranking page: answer the query near the top, use its wording in headings, add internal links. Opens the Writer as a refresh, or a snippet Fix.

  2. Low click-through

A page in the top 10 with at least 200 impressions whose CTR is below 60% of what your own site earns at that position.

Next step Rewrite the title and meta description. The snippet Fix shows the queries behind the page and checks the live title and description.

  3. Losing clicks

A page that had at least 30 clicks in the earlier 90 days and lost 30% or more in the latest 90. Starts once about six months of history are collected.

Next step Refresh the page: see which queries dropped and update outdated facts. Opens the Writer as a refresh.

  4. Pages competing

A query with at least 100 impressions split across two or more of your pages, each holding at least 15%.

Next step Choose one page to own the query; merge, redirect or retarget the others. Opens the Writer on the strongest page.

  5. Content gaps

A query with at least 50 impressions where your best position is beyond 20.

Next step Write a dedicated page or section that answers it. Opens the Writer as a new page.

03 / Act and measure

From a card to a change, then a dated result.

  • WriterRefresh an existing page or create a new one. The brief carries the Search Console evidence: the query and the page's top searches, with clicks, impressions and position. The Writer runs its usual plan checks.
  • FixFor low click-through and quick wins: the query rows behind the page, the live title and meta description, and checks that say what to change.
  • ProveMark an action done. Prove compares the 28 days before that day with the 28 days after, next to sitewide movement. Each result reads Improved, Declined, No clear change, Measuring (too early) or No baseline.

Your team reviews and publishes every change. Before-and-after results are descriptive, not causal.

Questions

Before you connect.

What data does SEO/GEO/AEO Intel use?

It uses your own Google Search Console Search Analytics data, read with Google's read-only Search Console permission for the property you choose. RankEcho stores daily clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by page and query for up to 16 months, then adds the newest days with a daily sync. Search Console usually reports with a delay of about two to three days.

Why do my totals not match the sum of the query rows?

Google does not report queries that fall below its privacy thresholds, so page × query rows can add up to less than the site totals. RankEcho shows the rows Google returns and does not estimate the missing ones.

How does the free trial work?

The trial is free for 3 days (72 hours) and needs no card. It starts when your first site begins syncing and covers 1 site. When it ends, your data keeps syncing; the Performance totals and chart stay available, while the page and query tables, CSV export, full action list, Fix, Writer hand-off and Prove need a plan that includes SEO/GEO/AEO Intel.

Which plans include SEO/GEO/AEO Intel?

Growth includes SEO/GEO/AEO Intel for 5 sites and Agency for 25 sites. On Solo, or without a plan, the workspace owner can add SEO/GEO/AEO Intel for $29/month, covering 1 site.

Does a before-and-after result prove my change worked?

No. Prove compares the 28 days before and after the day you mark an action done, and shows sitewide movement over the same days for context. It describes what Search Console recorded; it does not establish that the change caused the difference. Seasonality, algorithm updates and other edits can move the same numbers.

Does RankEcho change my site or my Search Console settings?

No. The Google permission is read-only. Fix suggestions and Writer drafts are for your team to review and publish in your own CMS. The workspace owner can remove the Google connection, and you can also revoke RankEcho's access from your Google account.
