AI Prompt Gap Finder

Enter a domain to generate 12 deterministic candidate prompts. The list uses the domain label as the brand and groups the prompts under five intent labels: branded, comparison, alternative, category, and problem.

This is a template-based starting list, not a measurement of prompt demand or AI visibility. It does not crawl the site, infer its real category, call an AI or search engine, or determine which prompts are actual gaps.

Free and instant. Domain in, fixed templates out. No crawl, demand lookup, or engine call.

What does the prompt generator return?

It returns the same 12 templates for the same normalized domain: four branded prompts, two comparison prompts, two alternative prompts, three category prompts, and one problem prompt. The brand is the first label of the normalized domain. For example, acme.example becomes acme.

The intent labels describe the wording of each template. They are not classifications produced from your pages, market, customers, competitors, or search data.

Worked synthetic example

For acme.example, the output includes candidates such as what is acme, acme alternatives, top acme competitors, and how to choose a tool like acme. The tool has generated those strings from acme; it has not checked whether Acme is a tool, whether people ask those questions, or whether any engine answers them.

False positives and weak candidates

A domain label can be generic, abbreviated, or different from the public brand. A subdomain can also make the first label misleading. In those cases, a syntactically valid candidate may be irrelevant. Treat the list as an editing worksheet: replace weak wording, add real products and use cases, and remove prompts that do not match the site.

What this tool does not do

  • It does not crawl the supplied domain or read its pages.
  • It does not infer a category, persona, use case, competitor set, or buyer journey.
  • It does not use keyword volume, prompt demand, impression, or trend data.
  • It does not call ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google, or Bing.
  • It does not measure citations, mentions, rankings, or actual prompt gaps.
Candidate prompts here; observed answers in the audit.

Free audits check Perplexity and Gemini once per prompt. Paid and trialing accounts add ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when those adapters are configured, for up to 5 engines. Review the disclosed scope before treating any result as evidence.

Use the Find, Fix, Prove sequence

  1. Find: Edit this candidate list, then use the AI Visibility Audit to observe answers under its displayed engine scope.
  2. Fix: If repeated evidence shows a useful miss, plan a bounded change with the Fix Engine.
  3. Prove: Re-test the same prompt and scope against a saved baseline with the Proof Loop. A changed result is evidence of movement, not proof of a single cause.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool find measured AI prompt gaps?

No. It generates 12 candidate strings. A gap requires observations from a defined prompt, engine, time, and sampling scope.

How does the tool choose my brand and category?

It derives the brand from the first label of the normalized domain. It does not infer a real category; category is only one of five fixed intent labels.

How many prompts and intent labels does it return?

It returns exactly 12 prompts across branded, comparison, alternative, category, and problem labels.

Does the list include search volume or prompt demand?

No. The tool performs no demand research and attaches no volume, impression, popularity, or trend metric to a prompt.

What should I do after generating candidates?

Edit them for relevance, use a defined audit scope to collect answers, make a bounded fix only when the evidence supports it, and re-test the same scope.
