# Writesonic same input evaluation

Compare the same work before changing vendors. Use one record per candidate, including the incumbent. Agree on the must haves before scoring and keep a missing answer visible.

Worksheet version 1.0 · 17 September 2026. Complete one record per candidate. Blank fields request your evidence; this pack does not report vendor account tests or executed pilots.

## 1 Define the workload

Freeze the buyer questions and reporting conditions before requesting a trial.

**Decision and owner** — Record the job to replace, reviewer and decision date.

[Enter your response]

**Candidate and plan** — Record vendor, exact tier, currency, contract term and quote link.

[Enter your response]

**Ten buyer prompts** — Link an immutable list of 10 prompts with IDs, US English locale, competitors and collection window.

[Enter your response]

**Surface and collection scope** — List each required surface, sampling frequency, collection method and permitted differences.

[Enter your response]

**Acceptance requirements** — State required outputs, evidence, pass threshold and reviewer for each must have.

[Enter your response]

## 2 Run the same inputs

Give each candidate the same page gap, approved facts and source pack. Duplicate the rows for every required output.

**Approved source pack** — Link the page URL, version, facts, prohibited claims and task instructions.

[Enter your response]

**Run record** — Record run ID, date, input version, raw answer locations, collection errors and unavailable surfaces.

[Enter your response]

| Required output | Evidence and responsibility | Pass fail or unknown |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Visibility baseline | [Link raw answers; define mention, citation and denominators] | [Result and reason] |
| Owned page change | [Link suggestion, brief, draft or publishable edit; name operator] | [Result and reason] |
| Client report | [Export link; permissions; edits and manual work] | [Result and reason] |

## 3 Reconcile delivery and cost

Separate a tool suggestion from an approved change. Keep subscriptions you will still need in the budget.

**Human work and handoff** — Record edits, review time, CMS work, retained tools and who approves publication.

[Enter your response]

**Shipment and observation** — Link approved diff and deployment record; schedule the same fixed prompt panel afterward. Record observed changes without claiming causality.

[Enter your response]

**Twelve month budget** — List base plan, retained tools, seats, model or action add ons, overages, onboarding and labor; distinguish annual prepayment from monthly cancellation.

[Enter your response]

**Missing commercial terms** — Record unavailable quotes, taxes, renewal, data retention, export and cancellation questions with an owner and deadline.

[Enter your response]

## 4 Make the purchase decision

A required unknown remains unresolved. Do not select a cheaper plan that fails a must have.

**Requirement outcome** — Link each acceptance requirement to pass, fail or unknown evidence.

[Enter your response]

**Decision** — Choose stay, switch, supplement or hold; name the deciding evidence and tradeoff.

[Enter your response]

**Migration continuity** — Preserve old prompts, definitions, answers and exports; record overlap window and differences between methods.

[Enter your response]

**Sign off and revisit** — Record approver, conditions, next review date and the evidence that would change the decision.

[Enter your response]

## Complete comparison guide

Stay with Writesonic when its combined visibility, content, audit, and agent workflow fits your plan limits. Shortlist RankEcho for reviewable fixes and shipment-dated same-prompt observations, Peec AI for daily analytics and agency reporting, or AirOps for content-production workflows with task-based pricing. Compare the dated costs below, then test the same prompts, gap, export, and report before switching.

Original guide and evidence records: 12 September 2026. Companion and pricing recheck: 17 September 2026. Confirm the current plan, billing commitment and exact workload in a written quote.

## Which option fits your workflow?

Start with the operating model, then compare the plan that actually unlocks it. Entry prices alone hide whether the purchase includes enough prompts, answer runs, projects, seats, content, integrations, client delivery, and post-change measurement for your team.

Published by RankEcho from official documentation, without account-level product tests. This is a shortlist, not a winner score. Prices and public product claims were checked on September 12, 2026; they exclude tax, implementation, negotiated terms, and any add-on not named in the cell.

| Option | Strong fit | Published cost basis | Poor fit or constraint |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Writesonic | One purchase for AI visibility, SEO/content production, site audits, and limited-to-full agentic execution depending on tier. | Monthly / per month billed annually: Starter $99 / $79, Basic $249 / $199, Growth $499 / $399. Enterprise is custom. | Starter, Basic, and Growth cover ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews; projects, seats, answers, articles, audits, Actions, and agent runs are tier-bound. |
| RankEcho | A smaller Find-Fix-Prove workflow with reviewable fix artifacts and shipment-dated same-prompt observations. | Monthly: Solo $49, Growth $149, Agency $399; annual billing is two months free. Separate writing add-on monthly: Content Starter $99, Pro $249, Agency $649. | Up to five configured AI services; no Microsoft Copilot checks. Full-page writing is not included in the base visibility plan. |
| Peec AI | Daily analytics and source-level Actions for brands, or multi-client reporting and exports for agencies. | Brand monthly / per month billed annually: Starter $95 / $80, Pro $245 / $205, Advanced $495 / $420. Agency monthly: Essential $245, Growth $495, Scale $795; Comprehensive is custom annual. | Brand plans select three models and cap projects. The Actions page leaves content creation with the customer; confirm what the pricing matrix's Agent actions and Skills produce. |
| AirOps | Content-production workflows and integrations, with broader answer-engine insights on Pro and custom enterprise programs. | No recurring list amount published; pricing is based on task volume and needs. Solo incremental tasks are listed at $0.025 each. | Solo insights are ChatGPT-only. Confirm the quote, task accounting, trial entitlement, visibility history, and export terms. |

## When should you stay with Writesonic?

Stay when consolidation is the reason you bought Writesonic and the limits fit. It combines visibility with articles, site audits, automatic fixes, and agentic workflows; splitting that work across products can add handoffs and duplicate setup.

Starter publishes 50 prompts, 50 daily answers, 15 articles, one user, and one project across three named AI surfaces. Higher self-serve plans raise capacity, while Enterprise is the route to all ten listed platforms, full Action Center, and full agent access.

Change only when a concrete requirement fails: capacity, surface coverage, client delivery, data access, content workflow, price certainty, or the evidence record after shipping. A lower entry price alone may not repay migration work.

## When does RankEcho fit or not fit?

RankEcho fits a team that wants the work organized around Find, Fix, and Prove. Free audits check Perplexity and Gemini once per prompt. Paid and trialing accounts add ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when configured for the account, for up to 5 engines. Solo, Growth, and Agency add reviewable fix packages and weekly or daily same-prompt observations after a recorded ship date. Google AI Overviews is reported only when an overview is shown and retrievable; otherwise that cell is marked skipped/unavailable rather than counted as a citation miss. The Proof Loop reports a dated before-and-after correlation with controls; it does not claim that a shipment caused an answer to change.

It is a poor fit if Microsoft Copilot is mandatory, more than five configured AI services are required, or the buyer expects a broad native connector catalog. RankEcho does not currently run Microsoft Copilot checks. The reviewed sources do not list native GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, or CMS connectors, so keep those requirements unverified.

Full-page writing is available through a separate add-on that requires a paid base plan. Inspect the deterministic fictional sample before deciding whether its answer block, schema, brief, and source-plan artifacts fit your review process.

## When do Peec AI or AirOps fit?

Peec AI fits when daily brand and source analytics, prioritized owned and off-page Actions, and flexible team access matter. Its Actions page leaves content creation with the customer, while its pricing matrix advertises Agent actions and pre-built or custom Skills. Test whether the selected tier produces guidance, a draft, or a publishable page before treating that scope as equivalent to Writesonic. Agencies can evaluate its credit plans and documented client reporting, Looker Studio, CSV, MCP, and API workflows.

AirOps fits when content production, knowledge bases, workflow automation, and publishing integrations lead. Solo publishes ChatGPT-only insights and 35,000 tasks; Pro expands to seven or more answer engines and 100,000 tasks. It is a poor fit when procurement requires a published recurring total. Ask the vendor to reconcile the current plan names with its trial FAQ and put included tasks, overages, surfaces, renewal, and export rights in the quote.

## What must you preserve before switching?

Before cancelling, preserve the exact prompts, locale, competitors, dates, answers, sources, metric definitions, projects, drafts, audit outputs, roles, reports, and contract dates you are allowed to export. Keep readable and machine-readable copies when available.

Ask each candidate to import one duplicate project, then verify IDs, tags, timestamps, answer text, source URLs, and report fields. Peec documents CSV and API-oriented agency workflows, but tier and schema still need checking. The reviewed AirOps and RankEcho pages do not promise a Writesonic-history import, so plan a new baseline unless a tested migration proves otherwise.

Run both systems for one reporting cycle. Do not join their percentages unless prompts, surfaces, sampling, availability rules, deduplication, and denominators match. Close the old series and date the new one when they do not.

## How do you run a same-input evaluation?

Produce a purchase record rather than a winner score. Define pass/fail requirements, record the plan and date, and keep unsupported requirements unresolved. Use a small panel and one real page gap.

- Freeze 10 buyer prompts, one US-English market configuration, the same competitors, and the same collection window. Record how each product defines a prompt, answer, model, engine, run, unavailable result, mention, and citation.
- Load the panel and capture setup time, supported surfaces, runs produced, raw answer and source access, and every plan gate. Do not normalize away failed or unavailable cells.
- Choose one observed gap and save each product's recommendation, evidence, editable artifact, approval step, and remaining human work.
- Give content-capable options the same approved source pack and refresh brief. Record whether the plan creates a passage, brief, full page, or workflow; whether publishing is native or manual; and whether an add-on applies.
- Request the same executive report, client view, raw export, and API handoff. Check branding, scheduled delivery, viewer access, field completeness, history, and retention with a real exported file.
- After one documented shipment, repeat the fixed panel on the agreed cadence. Preserve gains, losses, no change, and unavailable results. Treat timing as an observation, not proof that the tool or edit caused movement.
- Select the least expensive plan that passes every must-have after twelve-month fees, overages, migration, reviewer time, and add-ons. Keep failed requirements visible.
- [Use the fair comparison method](https://rankecho.io/resources/fix/alternatives-page)
- [Keep citation and conversion units separate](https://rankecho.io/resources/prove/citation-to-session-to-conversion)

## What should you verify again before signing?

Recheck when a vendor changes price, billing, plan names, metric definitions, surface coverage, cadence, limits, content or agent access, overages, exports, APIs, connectors, reporting, trials, or contracts. For RankEcho, also recheck the content add-on, Copilot boundary, sample fix, and Proof Loop method.

Save the current pricing page, quote, order form, data-processing and export terms, and answers to open questions. Resolve a decision-critical conflict in the contract and tested account before migrating or cancelling Writesonic.

## What is the best Writesonic alternative for AI visibility?

There is no universal best. Consider RankEcho for reviewable fix artifacts and shipment-dated same-prompt observations, Peec AI for daily analytics and agency reporting, or AirOps for content-production workflows with task-based pricing. Stay with Writesonic when its combined visibility, content, audits, and agents fit the required plan and limits.

## Is Writesonic only an AI visibility monitoring tool?

No. Its plans include content, site-audit, automatic-fix, and agentic capabilities, with access and volume varying by tier.

## Which option has the lowest published monthly entry price?

RankEcho Solo is $49 monthly for its base visibility workflow. The options are not feature-equivalent, full-page RankEcho writing is separate, and AirOps requires a quote. Compare the complete configuration in the shortlist.

## Which alternative is strongest for agencies?

Peec AI and RankEcho publish agency-specific reporting and data workflows, while Writesonic Enterprise publishes custom team and integration scope. Test one client deliverable, raw export, access model, and roster cost instead of choosing from the label.

## Can RankEcho replace Writesonic's article writer?

Only through a separate add-on that requires a paid base plan. Compare its piece allowance, sample output, review process, and export with the article capacity on the Writesonic tier you would replace.

## Can I carry a Writesonic visibility trend into another tool?

Do not assume so. Export the prompt text, surfaces, locale, answers, sources, timestamps, competitors, and metric definitions, then test an import. If the new vendor uses different sampling or denominators, close the Writesonic series and begin a clearly dated new baseline.

## Does a same-prompt re-test prove that an edit caused a visibility change?

No. Holding prompts and recorded configuration fixed makes observations easier to compare, but model, index, source, surface, and ordinary run variability remain. Report the before-and-after result with its timing and limits as correlation, not causation.

## Preserved dated evidence

- [Writesonic plans and pricing](https://writesonic.com/pricing) — checked 2026-09-12. Writesonic displays monthly and annual prices for Starter, Basic, and Growth, with custom Enterprise pricing. Its comparison sets tier-specific AI-surface, prompt, answer, content, audit, user, project, Action Center, and agent limits. The live public cards and billing control were reviewed. No account was created and no tracking, audit, content, Action Center, agent, export, or integration workflow was tested.

- [Peec AI pricing for brands](https://peec.ai/pricing) — checked 2026-09-12. Peec AI's US-dollar brand view displays monthly and annual prices for Starter, Pro, and Advanced. The tiers scale prompt and project allowances while keeping three selected models, daily tracking, and unlimited users; Enterprise is custom. The live rendered prices, allowances, and annual-billing FAQ were reviewed. No account-level tracking, reporting, integration, agent, or export workflow was tested; another locale may display another currency.

- [Peec AI Actions](https://peec.ai/product-actions) — checked 2026-09-12. Peec AI says Actions groups cited sources, identifies owned and off-page gaps, and supplies prioritized guidance on what to create, optimize, or influence. It says Actions is included with all plans and that the customer still creates the content. This is a documentation review of the stated analysis and execution boundary, not a test of recommendation quality, completeness, prioritization, or resulting visibility.

- [Peec AI pricing for agencies](https://peec.ai/pricing-agencies) — checked 2026-09-12. Peec AI's agency page displays Essential at $245 monthly for 10,000 credits, Growth at $495 for 25,000 credits, and Scale at $795 for 65,000 credits; Comprehensive is a custom annual plan. Prompt counts shown on the cards are example configurations based on selected models, frequency, and credits rather than fixed plan allowances. The live rendered prices, credit amounts, and configuration labels were reviewed. No agency account, pitch project, report, export, integration, or billing flow was tested.

- [Peec AI for agencies](https://peec.ai/for-agencies) — checked 2026-09-12. Peec AI documents isolated client projects, unlimited client seats, branded reporting, Looker Studio, CSV exports, MCP, and API access in its agency workflow, while plan volume and advanced capabilities vary by agency tier. This supports including Peec in an agency shortlist. Buyers should verify the required tier, exact fields, retention, automation, and branding controls in their own trial or order form.

- [AirOps pricing](https://www.airops.com/pricing) — checked 2026-09-12. AirOps' current cards list Solo, Pro, and Enterprise with different visibility and content-task allowances. The page publishes no recurring plan amount, says pricing is based on task volume and needs, and lists Solo incremental usage at $0.025 per task. This is a public-page review, not a quote or product test. The FAQ also refers to a Scale-plan trial while the current cards use Solo, Pro, and Enterprise, so trial entitlements require direct confirmation.

- [RankEcho pricing](https://rankecho.io/pricing) — checked 2026-09-12. RankEcho's monthly plans are Solo at $49, Growth at $149, and Agency at $399, with 100, 500, or 2500 tracked prompts; one, three, or 25 domains; and one, three, or 10 seats. Paid plans add the Fix Engine and Proof Loop, with weekly Solo and daily Growth or Agency re-tests. The public page was checked against billing plan limits in source. This does not test a customer account, engine availability, fix quality, reporting, attribution, or a post-change outcome.

- [RankEcho content pricing](https://rankecho.io/pricing/content) — checked 2026-09-12. RankEcho full-page writing and refreshing is a separate add-on that requires a paid visibility plan. Content Starter is $99 monthly for 10 pieces, Content Pro is $249 for 40, and Content Agency is $649 for 120; the page defines one piece as 1,500 generated words, rounded up with a one-piece minimum. The published add-on prices, allowances, dependency, and piece definition were checked against source. No content was generated, reviewed, exported, or published in this review.

- [RankEcho sample fix](https://rankecho.io/sample-fix) — checked 2026-09-12. RankEcho's public sample fix is a deterministic example for a fictional brand. It shows editable answer-block, schema, brief, source-plan, and review artifacts and explicitly says the example is not customer data, a universal requirement, or a promised outcome. The sample was inspected as a documented output preview. It is not evidence that the same package fits another page or that publishing an artifact changes a citation.

- [RankEcho Proof Loop](https://rankecho.io/product/proof-loop) — checked 2026-09-12. RankEcho's Proof Loop records a baseline, shipment, and later observations for the same configured prompts and engines. Its public method describes the comparison as correlation with controls, not proof that the shipment caused a ranking, mention, or citation change. The documented workflow and limits were reviewed; no customer series or causal result was tested.
