# AirOps workflow replacement worksheet

Compare one content workflow before changing vendors. Record which responsibilities stay with your team, test all six acceptance requirements and reconcile the commercial terms. Use the editable worksheet first, then consult the complete comparison and its three fictional decisions.

Shortlist Writesonic for packaged AI visibility and content production, Jasper for marketing creation and custom agent requirements, and RankEcho for reviewed page fixes and follow-up observations. Keep AirOps on the list when you need its connected research, review and publishing workflow. The best fit depends on which steps the new tool must own and which your team will deliberately keep elsewhere.

AIROPS REPLACEMENT WORKSHEET — v1.0
Purpose: compare one real content workflow before choosing a vendor or changing subscriptions.

1. Define the boundary
Incumbent plan and renewal date:
One target page and buyer question:
Brands / domains / languages / reviewers:
Monthly volume: page repairs __; new pages __; refreshes __; other assets __
Keep in the existing stack:
Functions the replacement must perform natively:
Manual handoffs we deliberately accept (with named owners):

2. Use the same input packet
Approved facts and dated source URLs:
Current page/version and proposed change:
Voice, prohibited claims and acceptance rules:
One prompt panel: exact questions, engines, locale, cadence and observation rules:

3. Complete all six acceptance rows
Gate | Required evidence | Native / external / manual | Owner | Pass / fail / unverified | Record
Sources | Output claims trace to the approved packet | __ | __ | __ | __
Revision | Proposed change is inspectable and exportable | __ | __ | __ | __
Approval | Rejection stops the proposed publication | __ | __ | __ | __
Publication | Approved revision reaches the intended CMS field | __ | __ | __ | __
Recovery | A failed retry avoids duplicate posts; rollback is available | __ | __ | __ | __
Observation | Page/version and dated prompt results remain retrievable | __ | __ | __ | __

4. Compare commercial terms on a common basis
Currency; monthly payment versus annual commitment:
Base fee; required add-ons; usage unit and period:
Included volume; retries; overages; seats; brands; connectors:
Internal review and publishing hours; implementation and migration work:
First-year committed amount (not just the displayed monthly equivalent):
Written quote or checkout evidence and date:

5. Decide and preserve an exit
Any failed requirement: repair before switching.
Any unverified requirement or missing owner/record: complete missing checks.
All six documented: acceptance record complete, subject to the agreed procurement decision.
Keep, resize, supplement or replace:
Exported workflows, source references, accepted drafts and baseline history:
New monitoring-series start; old archive location; rollback owner/date:

This worksheet does not collect evidence, test a vendor, import a workflow or authorize publication. A filled row is an assertion to verify, not proof by itself.

## Which AirOps alternatives should you shortlist?

Start with the incumbent workflow, not a list of logos. A team that mainly repairs commercial pages has a different purchase from a team operating a research-to-publication pipeline across clients. A replacement can be narrower if the remaining work has an explicit owner. It is incomplete when those responsibilities disappear between products.

This is a September 12, 2026 documentation comparison, published by RankEcho. We reviewed the named vendors' primary pages and checked RankEcho's product source. We did not run vendor accounts or measure output quality, workflow reliability, migrations or business results. The fit judgments below are editorial assessments, not a performance ranking.

| Option | Shortlist for | Decide before buying |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Keep or resize AirOps | A connected intelligence, context and publishing program | Which Playbooks, integrations and review steps would need replacement? |
| Writesonic | A packaged visibility, writing and audit workflow | Are required agentic actions included, trial-limited or Enterprise-only? |
| Jasper | Marketing creation, brand controls and custom agent needs | Does the job require Business capabilities rather than Pro? |
| RankEcho | A scoped page-change proposal followed by dated observations | Who retains full-page production, workflow orchestration and CMS publication? |

## What are you replacing in AirOps?

AirOps now describes Playbooks as its preferred guided action surface, Grids for work across rows, and Workflows for a lower-level visual builder. Its documented system also includes brand context, visibility insights and publishing integrations. Inventory the functions you actually use; an old description of AirOps as only an AI writer can miss the replacement boundary.

For one representative page, record the approved source packet, generated revision, reviewer, publishing destination, retry behavior and observation history. Label each responsibility native, external or manual. A CMS logo does not establish that your required collection, locale, field mapping or approval rule works. Ask the vendor to demonstrate that exact route.

Human Review is a concrete dependency: AirOps documents a pause during which a person can edit, accept or cancel output. In an evaluation, include a rejected revision and check that it never becomes the published version. An attractive draft alone cannot establish that this control survived a switch.

## How do the prices and usage units compare?

AirOps' reviewed cards list Solo, Pro and Enterprise without a recurring plan amount. Solo lists 35,000 content-production tasks; Pro lists 100,000. Its FAQ says only certain actions consume tasks. Obtain the allowance period, chargeable actions, retry rules and a quote for your actual workflow; tasks are not interchangeable with articles or tracked answers.

The Writesonic Basic card reviewed shows $199 per month billed annually, 100 prompts, 300 answers tracked daily and 25 articles monthly. It also labels agentic workflow access as 50 trial runs. That is not a $199 month-to-month offer or evidence of unlimited recurring automation. Confirm ongoing access for the actions your replacement requires.

Jasper lists Pro at $69 per seat monthly or $59 per seat per month billed annually. Business is custom-priced and lists custom agents, Grid, API access and additional governance. Multiplying a Pro seat price does not establish Business entitlements.

RankEcho's base plans are $49, $149 and $399 monthly. Full-page writing and refreshing is separate: Content Starter adds $99 for 10 pieces monthly and requires a paid base plan. A piece represents 1,500 generated words, rounded up. A page count is therefore not a guaranteed piece count.

Compare a first-year commitment, not only a monthly headline. Add required seats, usage, connectors, production add-ons and implementation work. Keep internal review and publishing labor visible. Leave an unknown quote as unknown; zero would incorrectly make an unresolved option look cheaper.

## When is each option a practical fit?

Keep AirOps in the evaluation when the value lies in a connected pipeline and the team already maintains that system. A narrower scope or revised package may solve the buying problem without rebuilding every connection. First identify whether the pain is cost, implementation effort, approval reliability, missing capability or insufficient adoption; each points to a different remedy.

Evaluate Writesonic when you want the tracked-answer and content allowance packaged together. In the reviewed Basic card, articles and audits coexist with limited workflow trial access. Use the trial to establish what remains available afterward. Do not infer that article generation includes your required publishing approval or recovery behavior.

Evaluate Jasper when brand-guided marketing work is central. Its Business card makes custom agents and scaled execution relevant to an AirOps shortlist. Require a separate demonstration of the precise search-observation panel you need; broad GEO wording does not prove that two vendors collect comparable answer data.

Evaluate RankEcho when the recurring job is diagnosing a visibility gap, reviewing a bounded page proposal and recording later observations. It can be a narrower purchase alongside an existing CMS and editorial process. It is not presented here as a drop-in replacement for AirOps Playbooks, arbitrary branching workflows or automatic publishing. If those are mandatory native requirements, keep that gap on the decision sheet.

## How do you test a replacement before switching?

Use one real owned page and one agreed change. Freeze the input packet and the acceptance rules before running candidates. Evaluate six boundaries: supported claims, inspectable revision, approval, publication, recovery and retrievable observations. Decide in advance which manual handoffs are acceptable. A later reviewer should be able to inspect the proposed output and the record supporting each result.

The three records below are fictional teaching inputs, evaluated locally with the worksheet's decision rule. They are not observations of AirOps, Writesonic, Jasper or RankEcho. Every record includes all six gates. The complete record deliberately retains manual publication; the other records show why a failed approval control and an unknown recovery path must stay visible.

| Fictional record | Supplied condition | Evaluated decision |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Manual publication retained | Six passes with named owners and record pointers; customer CMS editor publishes | Acceptance record complete for that agreed scope |
| Approval bypass | Five passes; publication can proceed after rejection | Repair before switching |
| Recovery unverified | Five passes; retry/rollback evidence missing | Complete missing checks |

## How do you preserve the workflow and history?

Before an exit, export the material your team needs and is entitled to retain: instructions, source references, approved drafts, field mappings and dated observations. Document credentials and integration owners without putting secrets in the worksheet. Verify that the receiving system can use the formats; an export button does not establish an import path.

Run an approved pilot alongside the incumbent before its renewal decision. Preserve a rollback owner and a failed-publication recovery check. If the new tool changes prompts, engines, collection method or cadence, begin a new monitoring series and retain the old archive. Do not splice provider scores into a continuous improvement chart.

Choose keep, resize, supplement or replace only after the capability and commercial records are complete. A successful local procurement exercise does not predict customer results. Track search visits, qualified product use and paid conversion separately from a tool's visibility score.

## What should you inspect in RankEcho first?

Open the sample fix and compare its artifacts with one actual task on your sheet. Decide whether the proposal, sources and review handoff fit the page change you need. Then inspect the base plan's domain, seat and prompt limits, adding content production only when the separate full-page workflow is needed.

Free audits check Perplexity and Gemini once per prompt. Paid and trialing accounts add ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when configured for the account, for up to 5 engines. RankEcho does not currently run Microsoft Copilot checks.

Keep publication ownership explicit. RankEcho's sample is fictional and the Proof Loop provides dated observations, not proof that an edit caused a search or citation change. If your requirement remains a full content-orchestration replacement, return to the shortlist with those requirements intact.

## Is RankEcho a complete AirOps replacement?

This comparison supports a narrower page-fix and observation job. It does not establish equivalence for Playbooks, custom branching workflows, direct CMS publishing or migration of an existing AirOps setup.

## Can I compare a task allowance directly with article credits?

No. Define the work, chargeable operations, billing period, retries and output length first. Obtain a representative usage record or quote before normalizing costs.

## Should a failed mandatory check be averaged into a score?

No. In this worksheet, a failed requirement calls for repair and an unknown one calls for evidence. Optional preferences can be compared after required capabilities are resolved.

## Do I need to replace the entire stack?

Not necessarily. Keep or resize the incumbent, or supplement the existing CMS and editorial process, when that satisfies the agreed responsibility map and commercial terms.
